Mr Blanco will see insured and uninsured patients.

Insured 

Mr Blanco is recognised by all the major insurance companies.  

These include BUPA, Aviva, AXA PPP, Aetna, Healix, WPA, Vitality Health and Cigna

He is fee-assured meaning that he will not charge you the difference in his fees and those agreed with your insurance company.  This gap-payment has arisen because insurance companies have frozen their remuneration since the 1990s.  Some surgeons have charged the patient this shortfall to account for 25 years of inflation.

It is vital, as part of your contract with your insurer, that you are aware of what your insurance company will and will not fund.

Most insurers will require a referral by your GP, please check your specific policy.

Uninsured

Mr Blanco prefers patients to have had a referral from their GP but will see patients without a referral.

Mr Blanco's fees are in line with fipo.org guidelines,

New Pt consultation-        £225

Follow Up consultation-  £140

Injection Fees-                       £150 for single joint +hospital fees

                                                        £200 for 2 joints +hospital fees
